There’s always something special happening at The Common Place!
On Saturday, June 24th, 2017 Purpose:Forward, a mentoring and consulting group, hosted their first annual leadership summit to a packed Greenway room aimed at helping entrepreneurs in our community navigate the challenges of leadership. The conference featured many speakers from the
Philadelphia area; one of which is Dr. William C. Luff of Temple University, who shared his experiences and insights as a small business owner in the audio/visual and broadcasting fields respectively. The conference goers also heard from other leaders from various fields spanning corporate industries to ministry.
There were several topics of interest such as business and personal finance, team building, personal care, and even Millennial leadership in the digital age – which focused on how mixed generational teams can best work together to achieve goals as an organization. By the end of the all day event, there was an opportunity for networking and Q&A by a panel of the day’s presenters.
Purpose:Forward’s Leadership Summit team are already working on a winter conference and are committed to sponsoring these events twice a year.
